LA LEVANTINA, SPAIN on the move

Paella comes from the south east of Spain, a region known as Levante due to the famous strong wind that lashes its coast. Contrary to popular belief, paella is almost exclusively cooked in this region, apart from Madrid and Barcelona.

La Levantina respects the tradition of authentic paella. We use the best rice, a variety called Bomba, which was created specifically for making quality paellas. A well cooked paella should have intense flavour and the rice grains should be loose.

We hope you enjoy our website about this typically Mediterranean dish, cooked by Jorge, our Spanish chef from Levante, whose family has been making delicious paellas and typical Spanish food since 1920.

Only for Private Events, we would be delighted to provide you and your guests with paella as a main dish, with our delicious Tapas and Salads that you like the most  as a side dish or appetizer.

Paellas & Sides

We freshly cook all of our paellas on site in our lovely caravan for all to see! We use the best Spanish paella rice variety known as BOMBA and traditional spices (none of them are spicy), together with locally sourced ingredients for an exquisite and traditional flavour.
